Where We Began
Founded in 2018, PGTY Foundation was born out of a deep commitment to addressing youth unemployment and energy poverty. Our founders recognized that renewable energy skills training could create a pathway to sustainable livelihoods for young people while addressing critical infrastructure gaps.
What started as a small pilot program training 50 young people has grown into a movement reaching over 1,200 graduates across 40+ communities. Today, we offer comprehensive training in solar installation, electric vehicle technology, energy auditing, and entrepreneurship.
Our work extends beyond training. We partner with government, corporates, and NGOs to create employment opportunities, provide humanitarian support, and foster inclusive community development.
